Assisting the general salespeople with technical aspects of a Multifunction (MFP) device sale, along with supporting the sale with value-added solutions such as Document Management, Advanced Capture & Workflow, Cloud Fax, Printer & MFP Fleet Security, Cost Accounting, Data Analytics, Authentication

Primary Responsibilities:

  • General Technical, Application, and Solution sales support for our Northeast sales department, primarily assisting sales executives throughout NYC and NJ, but also willing to assist when needed in Connecticut, Westchester, and Philadelphia.
  • Perform showroom demos on various applications with sales department in Brooklyn, Melville Edison, West Caldwell, and Cherry Hill showroom locations.
  • Go to customer locations for field assist appointments with MFP sales executives.
  • Obtain and maintain sales certifications for MFP/Printer hardware and Tier 2 and Tier 3 Solutions (vendor partners may change).
  • Work with other systems engineers to maintain showroom environment in our five NE showrooms mentioned above.
  • Work with other systems engineers to maintain the test/lab environment in NY/NJ
  • Create custom demo configurations and perform presentations – working with systems engineers to develop POCs and present onsite demos and webinars.
  • Creation and modification of Statements of Work, price quotes, proposals, and documentation.
  • Perform customer training for MFP/Printer equipment, and solutions, where/when required.
  • Work with the Solutions Manager to maintain personal schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Business Manager to provide seamless support for customers.
  • Engage in MPS Opportunities assisting with customer onsite walkthroughs, rightsizing/consolidation, analysis, and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in IT (Computing/Networking) required and minimum 7+ years of Solutions experience in same industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) as your role will be in front of customers the majority of the time.
  • Excellent dress attire requiring a suit and tie most times, and a TGI polo shirt other time, when approved.
  • Excellent time management skills are required as deliveries and training are required between 8:00AM-5:30PM, with travel to/from these locations required prior to and after the designated hours.
  • Ability to shift gears and go to various customer locations within a given day.
  • Has driver’s license and car.
  • Candidate should have knowledge and experience selling DocuWare, EzeScan, M-Files, and PaperCut, with knowledge of Scanning and Workflow applications as well.
  • The ability to have high level solutions conversations with C-Level business executives to uncover current environment, pain/problems, and needs, in order to recommend business process improvements effectively.
