Key Responsibilities

  • Must create a positive, energetic working environment by maintaining high morale and productivity.
  • Answer all incoming calls promptly, and in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Implement and manage all processes related to the effective handling of inbound guest calls and outbound calls including creating reservations in OPERA.
  • Review reservations and guest requests daily.
  • Maintain availability calendar and communicate all relevant information to the operations staff.
  • Offer dedicated support to Sales and Marketing for group bookings, promotions, and revenue management.
  • Handle all special reservations, including V.I.P. reservations, comps, and special discounts.
  • Ensure a positive pre-arrival experience for guests by accurately conveying luxury resort and reservation information, qualifying guest needs, and ensuring precise entry of guest information into the booking system. Curate itineraries for specific guests.
  • Prioritize tasks and handle multiple duties simultaneously while remaining highly organized with attention to detail and consistent follow-up.
  • Ensures effective resolution of service issues with a proactive approach to guest and associate needs.
  • Respond timely to requests for information and assistance from guests, agents, and resort employees by using good judgment when independent decisions are required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Technology proficiency with thorough working knowledge of GDS, reservations software, and booking systems NAVIS/REVINATE, OPERA & SynXis.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to skillfully articulate resort information to guests
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly, prioritizing with utmost care for the guest experience, including balancing operating computer programs, in-person guest needs, and professional telephone interaction.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems as they arise
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of guest information and designated luxury resort data.
  • Positive attitude with a passion and willingness to learn
  • Genuinely affinity for interacting meaningfully and positively with guests and teammates
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and autonomously
