Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

  • Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
  • Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity, involving a large project staff
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
  • Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
  • Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
  • Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Implement QA/QC procedures
  • Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans
  • Supervise large project staffs and act as mentor for less-experienced Project Managers
  • Maintain professional engineering registration
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A minimum of 15 years of project management experience in multi-discipline building projects in multiple market sectors, including, but not limited to, data centers, technology, industrial, commercial, and Federal facilities. May also provide project leadership or management for due diligence and site development projects, as well as support for facility projects with other HDR business groups, including Architecture, Water, Resources and Transportation.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Business development and strategic planning skills of data center facilities and other corporate clients and developers
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This position requires onsite client visits, or this position will be co-located at the client site. The client requires all contractors/consultants/vendors who work or visit the site be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $110,789.00 - $191,590.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
