Magnify is searching for a Senior Piping Designer for our Client's open full time, direct hire position in the Phoenix area! This individual will report to the Design Lead to help expand the Engineering and Design footprint in North America and will act as the connector between multiple clients and delivery teams in international markets.

This is a Hybrid position and will require working from the Tempe office 3 days a week. Relocation assistance may be offered if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in engineering projects in developing project design deliverables as required
• Create drawings, isometrics, line lists, material take-offs, 3D models and other required drafting deliverables
• Assist the lead designer during model reviews
• Work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, supervisor etc. to support engineering projects
• Technical drafting and modeling within the given time, budget and quality constraints
• Prepare, check and approve all design deliverables in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance team
• Report on/manage project progress and forecasting
• Maintain design standards and codes for all projects
• Recruit, hire and mange more junior individuals domestically and internationally and support other staff as necessary
• Support the Business Development team through client-facing meetings, building projects, client relationships etc.

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional experience in Energy and resources sectors
• Working experience with 2D and 3D design systems - good understanding of piping layouts and field drawings
• Proficient in Tekla structures with experience in relevant CAD support softwares
• Experience working as a piping designer within Greenfield and Brownfield projects
• Experience with Plant 3D/S3D, Navisworks, AUTOCAD etc.
• Ability to apply industry design practices and key national / international standards and codes
