Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Huntersville, NC, hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000

Our client’s rapid growth and aggressive acquisition schedule has created an urgent need for a strong leader on their corporate IT team. The individual will be responsible for implementing and managing the infrastructure that services their corporate functions as well as numerous sites spanning our multiple divisions and cloud services.

In addition to working proficiently in performing hands-on activities, the right individual will be able to effectively manage multiple their project and operational resources and possess the ability to expand their role as the organization grows.

Background and Skills:

· B.S. Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; will consider candidates without degree in light of other qualifications

· Experience Information Technology with a focus on networking, data centers, security, and end user applications

· Ability to handle a broad range of IT support requests and willingness to play wide range of roles as required in resolution of incidents

· Demonstrated history of establishing and managing third party services

· Experience implementing IT operations management best practices (e.g. ITIL)

· Strong send of accountability and service oriented mentality with experience establishing, and managing to SLAs/OLAs

· A bias toward collective growth and ability contribute to the team learning and development

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management and others outside the organization

Knowledge and Abilities:

· Server virtualization - Advanced knowledge of virtualization concepts and experience with VMware

· Virtual Desktops - Advanced knowledge of VDI such as Citrix or Microsoft VDA

· Microsoft Services – Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, Azure AD, SSO, SharePoint

· Storage environments - SAN, NAS, DAS Environment

· Networking – Access points, load balancers, firewalls, and other network appliances/hardware

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
