Job Purpose

As a Sr. Global Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with an international, cross-functional team to find synergy across global markets and initiatives, leading a small group to shape and drive the go-to-market marketing strategy for the MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions core business. This role will help shape the marketing commercialization roadmap - increasing awareness and building brand equity through the development of relevant content, while focusing on increasing engagement and conversions across our various channels, evangelizing our industry-leading products and solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define the content development strategy and communications plans inclusive of trade shows, digital campaigns, webinars and social media channels to support global and regional business initiatives
  • Create relevant industry content plans for different applications - from digital to printed media, focusing on developing a narrative that’s effective and encompassing of the industry’s technical and commercial language
  • Optimize the marketing guidelines for the management of graphics, typography, logos, templates, posts, and publications. Define best practices in the use and deployment various marketing content and messaging at a global level
  • Develop messaging and positioning that clearly communicates our value proposition to various key target audience and segments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and investment decisions into actionable marketing plans; inclusive of seeking budget approval and anticipating measurable results
  • Liaise with external agencies, designers, photographers, and suppliers to ensure schedules, budgets and briefs are met and delivered to the agreed job specification
  • Manage personnel related to the content creation and the communications strategy; effectively ensure that metrics and objectives are met with the expected quality and performance to support the business strategy
  • Participate in the creation of strategic plans for the support of business across all regions, making sure to encompass the input of the different stakeholders
  • Develop and manage relationships with cross-functional project teams, including but not limited to regional and country managers, product teams, technical specialists, sales operations, supply chain, R&D for the creation of organic and paid media campaigns and general content development
  • Expand external industry relationships aligning to business priorities, such as national and regional industry associations, trade publishers and third-party event producers to optimize MacDermid Enthone’s position in the marketplace across channels, measuring impact

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, independence, proactiveness and ownership; embracing both big picture objectives and follow-through on details
  • 8-10 years of experience in a global role, focusing on product, brand marketing, digital or similar field. Experience working in an industrial, B2B company a plus
  • Language skills: understanding of regional cultural elements
  • Strong visual and creative judgement
  • Experience and interest in digital marketing and social media communication channels
  • Knowledge of print and digital production
  • Excellent communicator: written and verbal and to able to be customer facing, as necessary
  • Commitment – a self-starter with a desire to take ownership of projects and work through to conclusion
  • To exercise excellent communications in reporting to the Director of Global Marketing and Communications

  • Effective communicator with excellent written and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and liaise between multiple external partners and a multi-functional global organization
  • Creative and pragmatic marketer who is a capable of thinking outside of the box in delivering brand and marketing messages that connect with the audience while accurately depicting the personality and interests of the organization
  • Strong marketing skills and experience of a busy, global marketing department with a willingness to learn the industry
  • Ability to judge the most effective way to resolve and overcome design and language issues with the development and branding of product collateral across all marketing channels
  • Business experience and basic financial understanding to proactively understand and plan the budgeting process of the designated area
  • Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously and liaise with colleagues within MEIS marketing and sales teams, third parties and stakeholders as appropriate

Education

Bachelors Degree in Business or Relevant industry
