Taconic Biosciences is seeking a Senior Manager Web Development to join our dedicated IT team in this remote position site. This position works primarily remote (90%) with ad hoc needs to visit our US sites. Qualified candidates will be based in the continental U.S. and be comfortable working Eastern standard hours.

The Starting Pay: $110,000 based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

The Role:

The Senior Manager Web Development will be responsible for providing leadership of web development, including managing internal and external resources to support Taconic.com and eTaconic.

Duties of the Senior Manager Web Development include the following:

• Provide technical guidance for Taconic digital transformation initiatives
• Maintain technical integrity of taconic.com and eTaconic
• Troubleshoot technical issues across all marketing platforms including Taconic.com,
• eTaconic.com, HubSpot, etc.
• Lead development of web-based functionality
• Recruit, manage and develop internal web development group

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or technical/managerial experience at an equivalent level
• Prior supervisory or middle management experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Skill in designing, implementing, and coordinating assignments, operations, and/or programs
• Experience in making decisions or recommendations significantly developing or changing organizational policies or procedures
• Ability to communicate with all levels or an organization, internally and externally

Travel:

• Occasional travel required, generally 2-5 trips per year (all travel pending internal COVID-19 guidelines)

Internet:

• This role requires reliable internet service, Taconic requires a minimum speed of 200 MPS to be obtained. A stipend of $25 per pay period is provided to aid in this request. Employees who cannot or will not get improved internet service are welcome to work at a Taconic office of their choice.
