Job Description


The Senior Project Manager is an integral part of a talented design team focused on brand strategy and user experience design. The Sr. PM is responsible for managing multiple experience design projects in a scaled agile framework. They will partner with teams of Visual Designers, Copywriters, and Developers.

Success as a Senior Project Manager is demonstrated ability to independently lead clients to successful delivery, while effectively identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues that arise from client or technical complexity.

  • Deliver projects of high risk and complexity, typically across multiple platforms and/or larger than $2M in revenue, on-time and on-budget with high quality and client satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary delivery lead and internal and external point of contact for their projects
  • Plan and procure resources according to the scope and budget of the project; manage and maintain that resource plan
  • Produce and manage timelines in accordance to the constraints identified
  • Lead and engage in internal and external communications regarding all aspects of the project, including technical discussions
  • Produce and communicate internal and external project status reports and maintain all necessary project documentation
  • Monitor and manage the project budget
  • Facilitate problem solving discussions as well as client and team meetings
  • Implement existing methodologies and utilize the given toolset to manage projects
  • Identify, communicate, and define mitigation strategies for risks and issues internally and externally
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Identify and aid implementation of improvements within the project management department

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years working as a Project Manager, preferably in a digital agency environment
  • Proven understanding of managing user experience design in scaled agile framework/SAFe
  • Proven ability to deliver high risk projects, with demonstrable skills that show the ability to manage projects of high levels of risk and complexity
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal communication skills, time management, with a proven ability to do this at a management level internally and externally
  • Experience creating and managing project timelines and monitoring budgets
  • Experience working with clients and within scopes of work
  • PMP or other Project Management Certification preferred
  • Experience in managing creative service design projects preferred
  • Ability to travel, as needed

Additional Information


The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$146,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
