The Sr Manager, Curriculum Development role in our People Solutions organization might be the path to unleash your potential This role leads and develops a team of Instructional Designers and Instructional Media Consultants and manages the design and development process. This person is a proven leader that drives results to the business through collaboration, flexibility, and proactive problem solving. This person is a thought leader who possesses a continuous improvement mindset, focused on delivering excellent customer service and creative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions


  • Manages, coaches, and develops a team of Instructional Designers and Instructional Media Consultants with ability to hold self and others accountable to meeting commitments
  • Collaborates with partners to understand business needs and then translates them into impactful learning experiences to meet shared objectives and deliver on business goals.
  • Builds a diverse team of talent broadening skills and capabilities
  • An expert coach who is committed to developing people and putting the team first.
  • Drives individual and team accountability
  • Innovative thought leader in industry best practices relative to the client's business
  • Proven experience in both process and project management with the ability to move from big picture thinking to managing details
  • Directs work allocation and capacity and provides direction and delegation while removing obstacles
  • Guides the design process in an agile manner
  • Ensures service level agreements are obtained and adjusts the process to drive efficiencies when needed
  • Inspires and advocates for technology and tools within learning to leverage best practices for virtual and blended learning solutions that follow a learn-apply methodology
  • Manages and handles conflict effectively
  • Reviews instructional materials to ensure quality and accuracy and adherence to brand standards


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum


  • 7 or more years of experience required in related field (Curriculum Development and Design, Training, Customer Service or Operations)
  • 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
  • Requires strong knowledge of Project Management, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent coaching, consulting, problem solving, influencing, relationship building, and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization


Preferred


  • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Marketing, Business, instructional design, etc.).
  • 3 or more years of experience in a people management role preferred
  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired
  • Prefer certification in PMP or Lean Six Sigma or other Agile methodology
