How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
As we are advancing our therapies through the clinic, we are focused on enabling access to these therapies as broadly and as rapidly as possible. As such, we are seeking a new team member to help drive the development and implementation of Access and HEOR strategies that will optimally demonstrate the value that our therapies can bring to patients globally. Specific responsibilities will include:

Executing and managing primary and secondary research necessary to support and inform global market access and HEOR strategies across our development pipelines, including, but not limited, to payer research, retrospective analyses, HTA scans, systematic literature reviews, and outcomes research

Monitoring the evolving market access policy landscape to deliver analyses that inform market access and HEOR strategy development

Supporting development of value propositions, clinical outcomes assessment strategies, evidence generation plans, and launch deliverables, including, but not limited to, value narratives, meta-analyses, global value dossiers, and economic models

Executing market access and HEOR research necessary to inform strategic decisions associated with our clinical development plans and emerging pipeline

Monitoring new developments in HTA and pricing assessments and policy for the competitive market landscape and providing organizational updates

Managing external vendors and consultants to execute planned access and HEOR deliverables

Supporting annual budget and tactical planning
About You:
This is a high-impact role that will help to define the future of genetic and cellular medicine. As such, you will be expected to possess an understanding of patient and payer needs, burden of disease, global access landscapes, drug development processes, and health economics and outcomes research. It will also be critical to establish close working relationships with our internal cross-functional business partners. To position yourself for success in this role, you will be expected to have:

3+ years of relevant work experience in industry and/or consulting in HEOR and/or Market Access roles

Advanced degree in life sciences, outcomes research, epidemiology, health economics, health policy, or related fields

Direct experience managing and executing HEOR and Market Access research and deliverables to support demonstration of value and access to novel therapies (rare disease indication experience preferred)

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product development and/or commercialization, market access landscapes, HEOR methodologies, and global health technology assessment methodologies

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within specified timelines, budgetary, and quality standards

Excellent communication with proven ability to execute in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Meet your future team:
The Strategy and Portfolio Management Team is responsible for supporting both Commercial and Corporate Strategy, and as such, supports the development and implementation of Intellia’s strategy at both the asset and the corporate level. The integrated nature of our group helps to ensure that key strategic drivers at the portfolio level are integrated into program level strategies for our assets and vice versa. Given the potentially curative potential of our therapies, we recognize the importance of early consideration of access and HEOR needs as part of our strategic decision-making.
While the team is currently working primarily virtually, we are tentatively planning a return to the office sometime this year. Although in a virtual environment, the group has made it a priority to continue to foster a sense of community. This includes virtual happy hours, team all-hands meetings, game nights, and more!
