The Role

The Senior Maintenance Technician fills a critical need in Fujifilm's chemical plant operations. Our Senior Maintenance Technician supports all product areas within the facility and performs multitude of tasks. These include troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks (mechanical and electrical) for process equipment, site utilities (HVAC, compressed air systems, and chilled water systems) and general site needs.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Sr. Maintenance Technician will:
  • Work in a safe manner and in compliance with safety, environmental, maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial fixed, rotating, and electrical equipment such as pumps, piping, valves, motors, fans. Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution equipment across a range of voltages (480V-120V AC and DC control voltage).
  • Follow maintenance process requirements, including use of Maintenance management software (SAP) to identify equipment problems, obtain parts, document findings, track labor hours, capture repair history, etc.
  • Use and maintain hand tools, power hand tools, and power equipped tools. Read, understand and apply information found in maintenance equipment manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Write procedures to maintain and repair equipment when required.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on key site systems and equipment.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and excellent workmanship.
  • Support and participate in Environmental, Safety and Health and quality department programs and requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Journeyman Electrician or equivalent field experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in equivalent role in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
  • HVAC and Chiller experience required.
  • General knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance module is preferred
  • Must have a valid Arizona drivers’ license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to push up to 110 pounds
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to work standard 12 hour shift schedule, including regular weekend schedules (alternating weekends).
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
