Wells Fargo is seeking a Program Manager (Senior Lead Project Manager) on the Branch Banking and Affluent Group Portfolio Delivery (GPD) team in Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB). This Program leadership role is critical to our business and will act as a trusted advisor and change agent.

In this role, you will:
  • Act as change management advisor to leadership to develop or influence success of products and programs that are long-term, business-centric and medium to high risk, scope and complexity with broad impact across multiple lines of business
  • Collaborate and effectively consult with key stakeholders, executive leadership, Program and Project Sponsors, Strategic Partners, and other Change Management professionals to prioritize work, remove impediments and achieve business outcomes
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring full understanding of business impacts along with technology, business process, legal, risk, control and compliance
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale and require planning and progression, financial management, status reporting, effective communication and ongoing risk assessment
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that may cross other lines of business to support operations using organizational, strategic, institutional knowledge and navigation to anticipate change impacts
  • Could partner with CSBB Product and Agile Transformation Office on the utilization of processes, tools and techniques
  • Define program level business requirements, drive development of program charter and maintain detailed project plans to be published within the system of record
  • Lead by example and mentor junior project managers assigned to support the broader Program
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience managing large business focused Programs/Projects and Change management in a financial services environment, including relationship management with stakeholder and customer/client
  • Experience leading programs or simultaneous projects that are large, complex, and cross functional in a financial service industry
  • Experience influencing, leading, and negotiating with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Creating and presenting effective and influential presentations/summaries to Executive or Senior Leaders
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives & priorities
  • Broad financial services experience, working within multiple lines of business that preferably to include Branch/Retail banking and Affluent
  • Possess a fundamental level of Agile methodology knowledge
  • Ability to synthesize information to identify key risks, customer impact, financial implications, delays that could impact delivery, and issues that pose material risk to the project or business
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Vendor management experience
