The Senior IT Support Specialist will serve as a lead to support staff working with the Managed Services Provider (MSP), hardware and software support, user administration, application administration and support, documentation, compliance testing and adherence, and various other projects and tasks as assigned.
What you will do:
  • Project management/coordination/implementation in various departmental and firmwide initiatives, serving in a leadership capacity
  • Manage data categorization, storage, and retention efforts
  • Support/development of advanced use of Office365 applications
  • Support/development of enhanced reporting and application integration capabilities utilizing power apps or other similar technologies
  • Recommend, implement and support initiatives facilitating efficiency and growth
  • Contribute to innovation efforts in the firm
  • Serve as liaison between end users and MSP, providing technical assistance as needed and facilitating escalation as appropriate
  • Provide senior level system administration duties for various applications firm-wide
  • Coordinate Active Directory user/group rights and assignment for new employees, changes, and terminations; perform Active Directory user/group changes as needed
  • Coordinate equipment purchases, image maintenance, and assignments
  • Oversee hardware inventory of computers, peripherals, and infrastructure equipment
  • Manage repair/disposal/donation of hardware inventory, including collecting and sterilizing equipment to be disposed; coordinate warranty work; light repair of out-of-warranty equipment; shipping and handling of equipment
  • Configure users, call routing and various other settings in VoIP PBX
  • Provide or oversee technical assistance for firm-wide video conferencing needs
  • Manage site relocations and various other facilities projects
  • Interface with vendors on technical and software support issues Resolve escalated helpdesk tickets.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
  • Provide enterprise level support for iOS and Android mobile devices.
  • Perform or oversee monthly reconciliation of patching, malware management and endpoint management reporting, address issues as needed
  • Perform or oversee user review procedures monthly/quarterly/annually for Active Directory and various other firm-wide systems, resolve issues as needed
  • Review and oversee remediation of various monthly/quarterly reports, including firewall reports and external scan results
  • Investigate suspicious email activity
What you will bring
  • 7 years of IT infrastructure experience
  • Microsoft Intune experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Equivalent IT Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as impeccable customer service skills
  • Active dedication to self-development
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Experience working in Microsoft 365 - Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive is required
  • Experience with On-Prem and Azure Active Directory Hybrid environment
  • Experience with management of a VOIP phone system
  • Experience with RMM platforms
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management
  • Experience performing basic networking configurations and troubleshooting is required
  • Technical capability and ability to learn new technologies
