My client is expanding and seeks a senior level Electrical Engineer to take on the following tasks:
- Direct efforts for managing components and product regulatory initiatives.
- Analyze and test devices, components, and subassemblies used in both legacy and new products.
- Collaborate with teams in research, development, and sustaining projects.
- Monitor component issues and tracking of component life cycles.
- Provide root cause failure analysis for production and field component failures.
- Support component reliability analysis using reliability simulation modeling software.
- Create design documentation and support regulatory submittals for component changes.
- Acquire and compile all needed support documentation for electrical and packaging hardware.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- BS in Engineering and 15+ years of relevant experience in medical device or other regulated industry.
- Ability to collaborate with external vendors as well as internal Supply Chain, Development, and Mechanical Engineering teams.
- Expertise working with electronic components, sensors, circuit boards, embedded systems, supply chain and quality, regulatory compliance.
- Experience with coordinating outside design resources.
