Job Description:

At Shankar Distillers, we are proud of the quality, packaging, and products we provide. We're looking for an energetic, skilled Marketing Executive to help us promote our products, our distillery, and our events. Our ideal candidate will research industry trends, review competition, establish and support a healthy online and social presence, manage and support event needs, and work with the sales and operations teams to increase brand awareness, distillery tours, product sales and club membership.

Marketing experience in the alcohol industry is a plus. He/she will have the ability to work with the digital marketing department resources, lead and execute campaigns, work with creative teams and suppliers for materials, interact with regional sales teams and support global marketing programs on a regular basis. If you have an understanding of what makes people want to drink certain beverages, and a desire to be part of a growing business, we would like to talk to you.

Objectives

  • Lead marketing initiatives in social, web, events, partnerships, consistently identifying opportunities to build brand awareness in existing and new regions.
  • Collaborate with the US and other global business teams to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing campaigns for new and existing products.
  • Identify short-term and long-term marketing schedule, budget, and resource needs. Work with Marketing Director and President for edits and approvals.
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, competitive analyses, campaign results, and market trends in order to build or modify campaigns and provide insights for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • · Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with Marketing Director, Sales, Management, Digital Marketing, Creative and Content teams to create and execute effective marketing programs focused on growing brand awareness and sales for our products.
  • Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including strategy, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Participate in and support US and global marketing efforts that impact brand awareness and sales.
  • Review current marketing trends and competition advertising to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
  • Manage implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales.
  • Hold weekly meetings with Marketing Director, Management, and Sales teams to review local (US), global campaign needs and strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or relevant industry experience.
  • We are looking for somebody with experience in marketing spirits/alcohol beverages.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Persuasive and compelling communicator possessing a high level of business acumen with the ability to communicate both written and verbally.
  • Self-starter, motivated to succeed.
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing from a local and global perspective.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and manage campaigns.
  • Experience working with events to help promote brand and products.
  • Established portfolio of successful execution of programs delivering ROI.
  • Desire to grow professionally within an organization
