Content Critical Solutions has an opportunity in our Development area for a Senior Developer. At Content Critical we create workflow solutions that drive automated business solutions. We provide systems that generate and manage compliance based content and messaging. Applications are created using many of the leading technology tools from Quadient, Crawford Technologies and languages such as Python, Java, database programming as well as a wide range of web based programming solutions. We offer the opportunity to be involved in building tailored solutions for Fortune 1000 companies.

Senior Developer

· Be a primary point of contact for development requests.

· Assist in the preparation of technical designs for custom solutions.

· Manage the completion or resolution of development issues or enhancement requests.

· Provide feedback to those performing business requirements gathering functions on required information.

· Help gather technical requirements, prepare and publish estimates for work requests.

· Ensure that proper backup and knowledge transfers are performed for all work.

· Ensure that complete and proper documentation is available for all jobs.

· Enforce company best practices and ensure appropriate designs are followed during the development process.

· Ensure that solutions are prepared for optimal efficiency.

· Learn and understand the needs of the business stake holders and or customers

· Leverage automation capabilities within systems

· Provide status reports on current/planned tasks and projects.

Requirements

• Must have a 4 year degree in computer science or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Ability to create documented technical designs based on business requirements.
• Ability to turn these technical designs into quality, automated software solutions.
• A minimum of 5 years industry experience in application development.
• Understanding and experience in Object Oriented Methodology.
• Three to five years of demonstrated experience with Quadient and or Crawford Technologies and Python
• Understanding and experience with database management systems MS SQL
• Strong knowledge utilizing web development tools CFM/CFC (ACFM or Railo)
• Basic working knowledge of Javascript, CSS, jQuerry and front-end frameworks (jQuerry or AngularJS and Bootstrap a plus)
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and be accountable for work quality and deliverables.
• Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimum supervision and deliver tangible results within a reasonable schedule.
• Must have experience leading small teams.

Skills Sets:

• Linux and Windows environments
• Python, Java, Perl, shell scripting, CSS, JQuerry
• Standard Microsoft Windows products (Word, Excel, Access, etc).
• Experience with Quadient (GMC) Inspire
• Experience with print streams (Postscript, PDF, PCL, AFP) and Crawford Technology products a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
