Duties

As a Senior Business Consultant you will:

  • Lead or assist the division and office team leads in leading, comprehensive Bureau-wide or cross-Operations projects as well as division-specific targeted projects.
  • Document charter and business need assessment, project plans, and provides status reports and risk and issue identification, escalation, and resolution. Identifies and manages critical resource and other project constraints as well as budget and staffing needs.
  • Help clients within CFPB visualize and interpret trends in operational data to support business improvements and customer experience improvements.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experienceforthe CN-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-53 grade level in the Federal service . (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 is broadly equivalent to the GS-13).

Specialized experience for this position includes:

  • Identify, design, and implement business solutions that improve the delivery of services with demonstrated experience in three or more of the following: project management, strategic and management consulting, human centered or service design, organizational change management and communications. AND
  • Manage a variety of stakeholders from across organizational units to co-design effective business solutions from strategy development to post project evaluation. AND
  • Facilitating and consulting with agency senior leaders to design, develop/recommend, and/or implement administrative policies and procedures.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
