Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Whippany, New Jersey, USA (On-site)
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of business analysis activities, ensuring project objectives are met within established timelines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets, identifying patterns, trends, and insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize deliverables.
- Utilize your knowledge of Agile methodology and best practices to support project planning, sprint execution, and iterative development.
- Produce clear and concise project artifacts, including user stories, business requirements documents, process flows, and test cases.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis.
Requirements
- Ability to map and navigate complex requirements and organizational structures.
- Ability to produce Project artifacts and support documents utilizing Project Management tools
- Negotiation skills to drive decisions and consensus
- Exhibit solid ownership behavior, work autonomously and independently on work streams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and presentation skills
- Good organizational skills, learning/growth, and Audit mindset
- Ability to manage changing requirements and use independent judgment to drive outcomes in a highly dynamic environment
- Experience with Data Science and Data Analytics to drive Business Requirements via insights.
- Strong background in a banking environment (preferably investment banking
- Good understanding of Investment Banking products, Risk & Controls functions, and Unauthorized Trading business processes and standards
- Experience working on global applications and ability to work within a multinational team environment
