Donaldson is a technology driven company, focused on growth through innovation and a customer-centric focus. As a Senior Bioprocess Engineer and a member of our Life Sciences Product & Technology group, you will find yourself at the center of those efforts.
We engage in providing high-tech bioprocess solutions, our products are used in Universities, Research Centers, as well as in Biotech, Pharma, Food and Beverage, Nutraceutical, Cosmeceutical, Chemical, Agricultural industries, and, not to mention bioplastics and biofuels applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead R&D efforts for upstream Bioprocessing by designing and developing innovative bioreactor & fermenter solutions for Biotech, Pharma and Food and Beverage industry.

Apply bioprocess industry and engineering experience of the end to end bioprocess to innovate and solve complex customer challenges and create competitive advantage in the bioprocessing space.

Continues to stay current on latest bioprocessing technologies and key market insights.

Mentors and guides others as a Subject Matter Expert for bioprocessing.

Lead review of R&D reports; write and review processes for technology transfer, including technical documentation and SOPs for GMP production.

Collaborate closely with cross functional team and lead technical developments according to GMP, technical and local regulations.

Develop project plans, manage timelines and communicate status to project stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Chemical/Biological/Process/Pharmaceutical Engineering.
-
5+ years of experience in bioprocessing and/or purification
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across a globally diverse workforce
Preferred Qualifications:
-
High learning agility, enjoys working in an innovative environment and self starting.
-
Knowledge of cell culture, bioprocess scaling up, single use technologies and end to end bioprocesses including commonly used purification technologies.

Basic understanding of applicable regulatory and quality Standards (GMP, …)

Advanced Project Management Skills.

Strong analytical and product development skills.
Travel:

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
