Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Ethernet Products Group as an ASIC Digital Design Verification Engineer. Being a member of our Silicon Engineering team, you will work alongside experienced engineers to solve new and interesting problems, making an important contribution to our exciting high-performance NIC projects.

We are looking for someone who has passion around improving the way we solve complex problems. In this role you will work with a world class team designing Intel’s next generation Ethernet ASICs.

In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will:

  • Work with a team designing Intel’s next generation Ethernet ASICs
  • Develop and integrate pre-silicon verification infrastructure and models
  • Work closely with the architecture and the design team to verify the validation quality of our products
  • Participate in development of verification / validation environment of complex design components
  • Develop and build test benches for design under test identify document and execute test plans on various platforms develop and debug random constrain verification test suite to fully verify the design under test
  • Participate in the definition of verification/validation infrastructure and documentation for IP SoC System on a Chip and system level development

The chosen candidate will also have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below:

  • Strong debug capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with project-based teamwork
  • General knowledge of digital design, CPU architecture


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study

  • 6+ years of experience with digital design verification

  • Experience in SystemVerilog based UVM, OVM or related object oriented, and coverage driven ASIC verification methodology

  • Experience with pre-silicon simulation tool flows such as Synopsys VCS Verdi and DVE

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience verifying complex designs both at the component and full chip level
  • Pre-silicon verification experience with networking protocols and IPs (Ethernet, PHY, PCIE)
  • Experience in architecting and developing testbenches and verification components like bus functional models and scoreboards checkers

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $139,480.00-$209,760.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
