The Role at a Glance
As a Senior Analyst, Strategic and Financial Messaging Office of the CFO, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for your assigned area(s) of responsibility. You will develop and execute a diverse range of internal/external presentations to support Finance and influence decisions.
What you'll be doing
  • Leads the planning and development of a wide range of presentation materials for senior management to present at conferences and other executive meetings.
  • Supports the strategic vision of Finance and LFG through the development & execution of communications and messaging tailored to internal and external audiences.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with business segment leaders to gain a current, well-informed perspective on strategic objectives, initiatives, financial plans, regulatory environments, and matters of significance relevant to Finance.
  • Collaborates and engages in strategic discussions effectively with senior and executive management.
  • Researches and recommends responses to complex questions, surveys and requests.
  • Monitors, researches and summarizes complex research on various topics for leadership.
  • Directs and/or participates in departmental or enterprise wide projects.
  • Partners closely with Communication, Investor Relations, and other senior partners to develop content.
  • Executes effective governance of communications by not exposing Lincoln to any form of legal, compliance, reputational or regulatory risk.
  • Ensures all materials produced are of a consistent & uniform professional quality in accordance with Lincoln’s standards.
  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as required.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
  • 5 – 7+ Years of Communications and/or Finance experience which relates to the specific responsibilities for this role.
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions/presentations.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment; Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches.
  • Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
  • Expert PowerPoint building skills.
  • Proficiency with other Microsoft Office Products (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay Range: $87,700 - $159,900

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
