The Product Operations, Senior Analyst is a critical role responsible for optimizing and streamlining product-related processes and operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of products to the market. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Operations, R&D, Commercial to find opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance product performance, user experience, and business outcomes.

A Day in the Life

  • Attend a cross-functional team meeting to discuss ongoing product initiatives, providing updates on operational progress, challenges, and potential solutions.
  • Analyze customer feedback and support data to identify areas of improvement in product usability, feature adoption, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for product processes and best practices, ensuring consistency and efficiency across teams and product lines.
  • Conduct a deep-dive analysis into a specific product issue or opportunity, synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations for the product team.
  • Support the development and administration of the product intake process.
  • Support the lifecycle process of Transplant Diagnostic products from the initial concept to the end of support.
  • Work in cross-functional groups comprising other product management team, marketing, ClinReg and R&D on new development projects.
  • Address challenges in a proactive and timely manner by providing regular feedback to R&D in order to address defects and feature gaps.
  • Present Thermo Fisher Scientific products and application solutions at meetings, conferences and seminars.

Keys to Success

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related role within the Life Sciences industry.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of product life cycle management, including product development, launch, and retirement processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Must demonstrate technical knowledge and ability to present to others in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent oral / written communication and presentation skills in English are a necessity.
  • Ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional team across multiple sites.
  • Highly motivated team member with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicate globally with internal colleagues (technical and business teams) and customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $91,700.00–$137,500.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
