Position Summary:
Odyssey is recruiting for a Senior Aquisition Associate for a full time postion role in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role you will Fulfill functions similar to work in a Director’s Action Group (DAG).
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Fulfill functions similar to a Director’s Action Group (DAG) to include but not limited to; facilitating special projects initiated by division senior staff, conducting or directing research to meet project objectives, ensuring communication to support project strategies, sub goals, and processes, liaising with all participants through all steps
  • Manage all action items assigned to division by higher headquarters and external agencies using Space Force and locally directed tools, policies and guidance to evaluate and prioritize all incoming action items, assign items to appropriate groups or individuals, track progress against suspense dates, ensure proper closure and maintain and update information contained in databases to track and coordinate efforts
  • Respond to/screen inquiries and concerns from higher headquarters, external agencies, group members, and industry on behalf of the commander while teaming with the commander and senior staff to ensure timely, appropriate response and resolution
  • Manage information integration across the division to include managing all recurring reports and coordinating, compiling, and conveying Division Chief’s vision
  • Manage external briefings on behalf of the Division Chief including but not limited to; Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and various financial reviews
  • Manage various internal division and branch chief level meetings and management reviews
  • As necessary fulfill front office executive administrator responsibilities including but not limited to scheduling or assisting in scheduling meetings and conferences including those involving staff from outside the immediate office and answering telephones, forwarding messages, and provide responses to routine queries
  • Other administrative functions as assigned
  • Record results of all activities for quarterly status reports to the Quantech Task Lead or Business Area Manager
  • Must possess strong writing skills and ability to manage multiple on-going processes.
  • MS Office suite of tools experience required: Confluence and Task Management Tool (TMT) experience highly desired

Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:

Citizenship:
Must be a US citizen
Clearance : Secret
Education: Bachelor’s degree limited to Management, Business, Acquisition, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering or Operations Research
Years’ experience:12 + years of experience performing Acquisition management activities (including 2 years in support of space acquisition programs)

  • Software Proficiency: Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT)– 2 years; Microsoft Office Suite – 3 years
