Job description

My client, with offices in Miami, is looking for an experienced senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations by verifying financial transactions. Some of the responsibilities include month-end close for the project accounting side and will also require working with percentage of completion area. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and thorough knowledge of accounting principles and, able to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Required
BS in Accounting or related field
Corporate accounting experience
Experience with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Strong day to day use of MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Strong communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
