Job Description Summary

As the Point of Care Segment Leader in the assigned region, you will be responsible for selling the company’s products and services to assigned competitive break-in and strategic GE accounts within the Region. This position is viewed as a Leadership-Level role and an expert by the company in the field of POCUS. You will lead efforts around competitive and academic break-in strategies, building strategic enterprise solutions, and driving product lifecycle excellence.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Expand POCUS footprint in accounts assigned to you in your role while working collaboratively with the local PSS to increase Marketshare with these assigned accounts

  • Strategize with USCAN and Global Leadership around Key Opinion Leader development and activation in key academic and competitive accounts

  • Partner with the region’s Handheld Segment Leader, Enterprise Solutions Leader (UAM), and Ultrasound IT PSS’s to develop enterprise break-in strategies for assigned academic and competitive accounts.

  • Drive Orders and Revenue results in defined region, by ensuring effectiveness of POCUS sales and clinical team.

  • Support the local PSS on competitive and strategic deals that impact the region’s success, including in unassigned accounts within the region you’ll support.

  • Work seamlessly with all Market General Managers, PSS’s, Account Managers, and Clinical Applications to develop a business strategy, and maximize business opportunities for all GE Ultrasound businesses, products & services.

  • Support local PSS’s and Market General Managers in forecasting and funnel development of large, enterprise opportunities for POCUS

  • Maintain a high level of technical and commercial competence on relevant products, technologies, and services.

  • Prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts with senior leadership to ensure a constant flow of accurate information.

  • Maintain an awareness of market dynamics and healthcare trends and ensure that this information is collected and made available to senior leadership.

  • Contribute to development of product messaging, value propositions, and POCUS solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and at least one of the following core experiences: 4 years of GE Point of Care sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation, or 5 or more years of combined Competitive Point of Care and GE Point of Care sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation.

  • This is a remote field position located in the assigned Region and must reside near a major airport to facilitate heavy travel requirements.

  • Demonstrated success in complex strategic/enterprise sales at CXO level.

  • A proven track-record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and a desire to grow new business.

  • Experience understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop account plans and proven ability to influence ideas and drive results.

  • Proven key account management and project planning skills.

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Proven track record of relationship building skills.

  • High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed organization

  • Willingness to travel at least 80% within your specified geographic region with overnight stays depending on geography and business need.
