SUMMARY

An employee fulfilling the role of Clubhouse Operational Support and Activities Monitor becomes the “Face” of Vesta and normally has contact with, in some capacity, all residents and their guests as they arrive, utilize and enjoy the facilities.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


  • Detailed understanding of all Clubhouse Rules and Regulations is required in order to inform the residents of those Rules and Regulation and assist them in understanding and adhering to same.
  • Responsible for supporting all Clubhouse operational activities in such a manner to help ensure a smooth execution of and a successful conclusion to those activities while also assisting residents (and their guests) in the peaceful enjoyment of all Clubhouse recreational facilities.
  • Monitoring all Clubhouse activities, pools and all facilities with an eye for safety, rule compliance, and resident’s harmonious participation in events and activities.
  • Knowledge of the Clubhouse physical layout, fire and safety equipment, room location and specific room utilization limitations.
  • Ability to document incidents, assist residents in emergencies, utilize medical support equipment (AED’s), and remain calm and apply clear solutions in cases of emergencies.
  • Utilize personal skills to de-escalate resident confrontations and address complaints in a professional manner.
  • Foot patrols in and around the building to ensure the safety of the physical structure and notate items requiring Housekeeping and Maintenance attention.
  • Understand the Opening and Closing procedures to ensure that the building is ready for use each day and securely closed each night.
  • Understand procedures associated with Carbon Monoxide and Fire alarms to ensure safety of the building and the residents / staff.
  • Observe, inquire, report (document) and follow-up on any suspicious activity and persons.
  • Maintain High Visibility in and around the facility.
  • Issue Guest passes to authorized visitors, as necessary.
  • Check Resident badges, as necessary, for authorized utilization of the facility and activities.
  • Respond to resident inquiries / requests and resolve resident issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Climb stairs and ramps occasionally during shift.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position.

  • Secure all entrances and exits of the Clubhouse and the Pool areas.
  • Observe and report suspicious activities and persons.
  • Write detailed incident reports.
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings.
  • Available to help cover vacations, time-off, holidays and special events.
  • Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both residents and their visitors as well as community visitors.
