About the Position:

To provide a Safe and Secure environment for all staff, clients, and visitors.

Schedules:

Your Role:

• Responsible for the Security and Safety of all clients, buildings, and grounds.
• Follow all pre-determined "Post Orders" for interior/exterior tours as assigned including documentation of each.
• Support the admissions process by taking temperature of incoming clients as well as BAL testing
• Ensure consistent Live Video Monitoring of Campus for Safety
• Completes video review and report for incidents when required
• Provide staff escort to and from vehicles if needed
• Act as Liaison for Ambulance/Police
• Perform baggage and property searches according to established guidelines
• Immediately communicate to Supervisor, Clients Services Staff or Clinical team members regarding any behavioral problems or safety concerns which may arise when dealing with clients
• Provide assistance to other team members as necessary to ensure that clients experience an unsurpassed level of service
• Provide safe client transportation as needed for all Mountainside programs
• Follow relevant safety regulations and state laws governing vehicle operation and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations.
• Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation.
• Perform errands such as delivering/picking up mail and packages and performing store runs
• Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles, and help them with any luggage.

Qualifications:

• Notary Public in CT - Preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
• Previous Security experience – Preferred

Compensation:

The base rate of pay for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour for part time and per diem. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
