The City of Peoria is looking for a motivated individual who is willing and able to monitor City facilities in highly visible, public use areas. Responsibilities include monitoring security cameras, patrolling the premises to monitor the safety and security of the premises, greeting and directing visitors to their desired locations, responding to alarms, and writing incident reports.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Experience providing security in a public access facility
- Good situational awareness and working knowledge of security techniques
- Resourcefulness, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
