Securities Settlement Analyst

As a Barclays Securities Settlement Analyst this is an exciting opportunity, where you will be managing the day-to-day performance of a third-party utility to ensure BAU processing for client and mitigating processing risk. You will be serving as process subject matter expert and an escalation point for Internal and External Clients. You will take regulatory and risk ownership, which includes interfacing with regulator.

What will you be doing?

• Conducting Weekly client / business meeting
• Conducting Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Performance Reporting to Senior Management
• Managing of processing issues, risk events, KPI’s and KRI’s and mitigating risk
• Assessing risk and performance management of the services provided by the Utility

What we’re looking for:

• BA or BS or equivalent experience
• One to Five years’ work experience in a Securities Settlement role

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Demonstrated effectiveness managing and developing people
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) to be able to effectively communicate with multiple levels
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
