Job description

The Pool Attendant maintains cleanliness and order around the pool area. Provides prompt and courteous service to guests. Must be at least 16 years old.

• Walk all assigned areas throughout shift; remove and replace dirty towels and service trays and glasses, empty trash receptacles.
• Set-up and/or breakdown Pool areas on a daily basis.
• Remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
• Maintain Pool Showers, lockers and bathroom areas throughout shift.
• Clean all pool areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations.
• Remove soiled terry and trash from the pool areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner and retrieve clean terry.
• Stock pool linen and supply to ensure par inventories.
• Report any missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the supervisor and/or security.
• Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed.
• Perform any other additional duties as assigned by leadership.
• Scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Must be able to work shifts during pool hours from 930a -10pm 7 days a week. Job will be from May - September.
• Utilizes a variety of approaches and communication techniques tailored to each situation. Is comfortable in conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
