Position Summary:
Assist people who Self-Direct their services to manage their service dollars by facilitating prompt billing and payment of approved services, monitor for compliance, and co-manage self-hired direct support professionals. This position can report to any of Springbrook’s Self-Direction offices in Oneonta, Norwich, Ithaca, or Binghamton and offers the hybrid flexibility of remote work during agreed upon days each week.
To protect the safety of the individuals we support and staff, Springbrook requires new employees to be current on all recommended vaccinations, including but not limited to: COVID-19.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree’s required (Human Services preferred, others will be considered).
  • Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software and e-mail applications with the ability to learn other computer software as necessary.
  • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
  • Access to reliable transportation as travel is required.
  • New York State Driver’s License is required.
