Arc Herkimer is looking for a Scheduler. The Scheduler will ensure that Arc Herkimer is properly staffed according to approved staffing levels to comply with Company policy and regulatory guidelines, coordinate activities throughout the program, and oversee certain financial resources for Community and Family Support Services.

Full time 40 hours/week Tuesday- Friday 10:00am- 6:00pm; Saturday 8am- 4pm

Rate of pay: $17.25/hr

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Agency approvable driver’s license required.
  • Prior scheduling experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Computer processing and data entry. Ensuring the accuracy of file information by updating data bases as new information is received.
  • Scheduling/fill work shifts for staff using computerized scheduling system.
  • Coordinate schedules and/or activities with supervisors and employees to make sure each shift properly staffed.
  • Schedule shifts, activities, and services according to care plan and staff availability.
  • Coordinate and ensure necessary vehicles are made available for scheduled services.
  • Coordinate and ensure proper financial resources are available for scheduled services.
  • Ensure prior day’s receipts for services provided are reconciled daily.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Communicate with team members on a regular basis.
  • Ensure efficient telephone communication.
  • Demonstrate helpfulness and courtesy.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with employees and families supported.
  • Understand and adhere to established Arc Herkimer policies and procedures.
  • Undertake other duties, responsibilities, and projects as may be required by supervisor.
