Job Profile Summary
Provides support to the Enterprise Scanning and Mail Services organization by performing routine activities related to the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail for various business units; sorts and preps incoming mail, preps outgoing mail/packages, operates various data imaging and mailroom equipment and performs miscellaneous administrative duties.

With the size of our organization, we have our own department, and as a Scanning & Distribution Tech, you’ll perform activities such as scanning, sorting and delivering incoming mail, and preparing outgoing mail, while utilizing various equipment and carrying out miscellaneous clerical duties.

What You’ll Do

The Scanning & Distribution Technician operates equipment including an opener, photocopier, scanner, and various other machines.

In addition, you will:

  • Monitor various systems and reports to ensure accuracy within the overall mail transaction process.
  • Be responsible for the filing, maintenance, storage, retrieval and destruction of hard copy mail in accordance with established procedures.
  • Research the appropriate destination of miscellaneous mail.
  • Maintain current address files for offices, sales representatives, and agents.
  • Complete deliveries to multiple offices throughout Stevens Point using a company vehicle.
  • Position Hours: Mondays 5:45am-2:15pm, Fridays, 5:45am-9:45am, and Saturdays 7:00am-11:00am. Occasional coverage on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:00am-10:00am may be needed.

What it Takes

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 0-2 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently enter and verify data on a PC. Previous data entry experience beneficial.
  • Ability to understand postal scales and rates.
  • Mechanical skills to aid in the identification and resolution of equipment issues.
  • Ability to work with a high degree accuracy and great interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk vigorously for long periods of time.
  • Ability to push and pull various carts with varying weights and loads and ability to lift up to 50lbs. somewhat frequently.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with a valid driver’s license and ability to meet travel requirements
  • Available to work Saturday as needed.
