Our Jonestown Distribution Center, a 218,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking full time Sanitation Crew members to join our operation.

We offer an alternating 3 day/4 day weekly work schedule, which is equivalent to working approximately 15 days per month. We need committed employees to fill openings on both day shift (6:00am-5:30pm)

The essential function of this position is to support our facility operations by providing day-to-day assistance to complete cleaning activities as required by the Sanitation Program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with cleaning duties for both the interior warehouse and exterior property
• Assist with conventional and organic cleaning on production lines
• Work as a team member; follow directions and offer support and suggestions when necessary.
• Attend all training for Sanitation, Health & Safety and Food Safety, adhere and maintain compliance to all company policies, rules and regulations.
• Wear personal protective equipment as prescribed.
• Operate all machinery and equipment safely, as prescribed (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubber, pressure washers, etc).
• Do some heavy lifting and break-down of equipment.
• Maintain records as prescribed.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• General knowledge of sanitation/housekeeping and/or janitorial processes
  • At least 1 year of related work experience, preferred
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending, squatting, lifting and crawling on a regular basis
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to work, sometimes independently with minimal supervision.
• Complete a background check and drug screening

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work in our refrigerated warehouse, 50-degree controlled temperature zones with background noise reaching up to 70 dB.
