- The Salon Assistant supports the stylists in several guest specific tasks, which allow the opportunity to learn from the stylists, while providing and maintaining the highest standards of customer service and creating a feeling of comfort and relaxation for our guests. The Salon Assistant will also assist in maintaining the Salon in a fashion that ensures it is clean and refreshed on a regular basis, and at a level that meets or exceeds health and sanitation requirements. Opportunity to learn and train with seasoned stylists for optimal growth in the salon industry
- Upon completion of first 30 days, eligible for a $250 reimbursement to go towards associate's licensing certification.
Responsibilities:
Assist stylists with various tasks including but not limited to, setting stylist up for client, preparing clients for treatments, shampooing client’s hair, drying client’s hair- Caring for facility by maintaining clean swept floors, disinfecting equipment, folding towels
- Keep retail space neat and clean by facing all items and ensuring area is free of dust
- Cleans floors, chairs, treatment rooms / areas, retail fixtures and cases, and other furnishings and surfaces in assigned areas.
- Ensures that products are restocked and refreshed as necessary.
- Follows established health and safety guidelines when cleaning surfaces that require sanitized surfaces.
- Awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
Must be 18 years of age.- Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of the scheduled shift.
- Must be flexible with schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited school to obtain an Arizona Cosmetology license, or already be licensed by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology.

Associates must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of the Company, including those set out in the Associate Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to associates.
