Romney Cycles is ready to add a Powersports Salesperson to our team. We are a full-service Yamaha, Can-Am, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph, CarryOn, Bwise and Aluma dealer and we strive to achieve a level of excellence far above the industry standard.

Job Summary

A Salesperson assists customers in all aspects of powersport and trailer sales. This includes product presentation, closing deals and presenting the vehicle features.

Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities

• Take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies, and proceduresThe majority of the time greeting, talking to customers, developing relationships and selling products utilizing our feature/benefit selling methodology.

• Understand motorcycles, ATVs, Trailers and Side by Sides by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features, comparing competitive models and other available options.Develop relationships and future buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at outside activities; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.

• Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive
• Provide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term clientele
• Develop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointments
• Maintain value, quality, and integrity
• Other tasks as assigned. Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; Attain new and used unit sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager

General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities

• Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.
• Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• High energy, competitive and sales driven personality. Previous sales experience preferred.
• Ability to understand motorcycle, ATV, and Side by Side characteristics
• Ability to start a conversation with anyone. Abiliy to spend time making outbound calls.
• Powersports sales background preferred
• Excellent customer service, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Dependable, shows up to work every day.
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Current, valid driver’s license required
• Subject to drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
