Your Job:

The Sales specialist will focus on small business sales and will develop sales opportunities and relationships, ensuring sales targets are met, using the tools and resources that Toyota Lift Northwest has to offer.

In collaboration with the Director of Sales the Sales Specialist must develop and apply the company’s sales and marketing strategies while considering the growth opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:

Job requirements may include the following where applicable:

  • Collaboration with Territory Manager on other sales opportunities within their customer base
  • Develops maximum sales potential through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses
  • Builds and maintains quality relations within customer base which increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis
  • Follows up with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns, and other promotional efforts to expand current customer base
  • Contacts new customers via telephone, correspondence or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company
  • Managing the entire sales process from prospect to close
  • Maintaining a consistent call schedule
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Required Skills /Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or some sales experience in material handling or related field
  • Possess strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales
  • Prior experience and strong ability using computer applications, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and sales related software packages
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and organized with ability to shift priorities in a changing environment (required)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, vendors, and customers (required)
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to operate reach-truck, stock-picker, pallet jack, & pass forklift certification
  • Ability to interact effectively with others; be a team player
  • Maintain a good attendance record
