Due to recent growth, we are seeking an IT Asset Disposition Sales Specialist who will be responsible for developing new customer and partner relationships and new business opportunities within the Apto Solutions portfolio.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and leverage existing relationships in the ITAD, Asset management, or infrastructure re-marketing industries to open new accounts.
  • Expand the sales pipeline by leading the process of identifying, qualifying, and establishing new offerings that align to identify customer needs
  • Qualify leads for accelerated business development
  • Build indirect relationships with VARs, Distributors, OEMs, Leasing Companies, and purchasing groups
  • Meet potential direct fortune 1000 clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/Principals
  • Plan approaches and pitches. Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Takes lead in RFQ/RFP Responses
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use an appropriate style to persuade or negotiate appropriately
  • Present an image that mirrors that of the client

Requirements:

  • Must have existing relationships in the ITAD, Asset management, or infrastructure re-marketing industries
  • Experience in client relationship management, identifying opportunities with clients, networking and generating leads
  • Demonstrates a track record of achieving sales goals and metrics

Preferred:

  • Experience selling to IT asset management, infrastructure lifecycle management or corporate sustainability teams
  • Experience with service sales or complex sales cycles is a plus
