Job Summary
At Koala Insulation of the Sound Shore, we are looking for an experienced, driven individual with a background in sales to estimate insulation projects with the goal of a one-visit close. The ideal candidate will have a background in consultative sales and will work with customers to sell the insulation services that best fit their needs.

Koala Insulation of the Sound Shore will offer a competitive base salary, benefits package, and uncapped commission pay based on volume and profitability targets for booked business. We will provide you with a branded vehicle and all of the requisite technology to hit the ground running, as well as a comprehensive training on our product offering and sales process.
Job Location: Sound Shore Territory includes areas in and around Bedford, NY - East Chester, NY - Mamaroneck, NY - Norwalk, CT - Greenwich, CT
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead generation and data input into CRM.
- Travels to residential, commercial, and government sites within territory to complete the estimation process for our insulation services.
- Use product samples, support, and technology to assist you in closing the sale.
- Networking to build contractor relationships within territory.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to interpret blueprints and/or experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
- Facility with technology and ability to rapidly learn and implement new tech is preferred.
- Some financial training / understanding is preferred, however business owner will provide mentorship to the right candidate
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience using a CRM preferred.
- Passion for helping people save money, conserve energy and improve comfort.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prior Consultative Sales experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, crouching, and maneuvering through attics and crawlspaces.
- Must be able to access and navigate the jobsite.
- Jobsite environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to; $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 (base, +commission)

- Construction Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
