ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are searching for a reliant and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to support and assist our Sales Department by managing the electronic fulfillment of all sales orders delivering directly to consumers as well as to dealers/distributors. This team member will be strategic in communicating with our 3PL warehouses to ensure adequate stock levels for fulfillment as well as proper timing and transit for outgoing shipments. This role will also be asked to take on additional projects as they arise such as order/data entry. Due to the time-sensitive nature of our shipments, this team member is expected to be able to prioritize their workload and stay organized to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all areas of their position. (NOTE: This is not a warehouse position; order fulfillment will be strictly electronic via our ERP.)

Full time: 30-35/hrs/week

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily order management to ensure proper timing and transit
  • Communicate order and shipping details to3PL warehouse; coordinate shipping and scheduling of small parcel (both domestic and international) and domestic freight
  • Fulfillment of completed orders and entry of end of day tracking to the proper channels
  • Provide support to our Sales team and retail partners
  • Other Sales Operations tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Shipping Logistics: working knowledge of small parcel and freight shipments including how to route, schedule, track and open claims
  • Organized: strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize is vital
  • Reliable: passionate about the work they do and can be relied on to get the job done
  • Proactive: able to take charge and solve problems before they arise
  • Computer savvy: everything you will do will be on a computer; proficiency in Excel and strong typing skills are an absolute must
  • EDI: bonus if you have knowledge of EDI transactions and documents (850, 846, 856, 810 etc)

  • Self-directed, motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communications

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
