Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking for a detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to contribute to the achievement of sales targets by supporting sales representatives, coordinating sales and marketing activities, and maintaining good customer relationships. This individual needs to be proficient in Salesforce customer relationship management software and applications. The Sales Operations Coordinator's responsibilities include supporting sales, managing sales promotions, ensuring order satisfaction, coordinating with other departments, handling administrative duties, and promoting customer satisfaction.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES SUPPORT:

• Manage Salesforce application through updates and analysis with sales team. Keep sales team with updated goals and tracking.
• Manage customer deduction process and support sales team in quarterly spending updates
• Coordinate customer trade letter and price change communications
• Support customer scorecard and portal activities

CUSTOMER SUPPORT:

• Helping the sales team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange for support, appointments, products - and ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support material.
• Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events and promo needs.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.

CLERICAL/DATA MANAGEMENT

• Developing and maintaining filing systems to maintain sales records, prepare reports, and provide financial information to the finance department.
• Maintains price lists
• Manage and process sample requests according to set guidelines

WORKS CLOSELY WITH OUR MARKETING DEPARTMENT OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Plan & implement brand activation for Patria (foodservice brand) and Wood River Creamery (retail brand) in order to drive sales
• Build and maintain a calendar of events with operators, retailers, and distributors
• Analyze success of previous campaigns through development of a ROI scorecard
• Competitor analysis and tracking

QUALIFICATIONS:

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally Lift up to 30 Pounds; Push/Pull/Stack up to 30 Pounds
• Repetitive Motion; frequent use of computer
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in communications, business) or at least 4 years related experience and/or training

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Strong problem-solving skills with a tactful approach
• Proficient use of data management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient use of Salesforce or ability to learn quickly
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Solid brand building experience
• Ability to develop relationships and successfully manage accounts
• Confident public speaker
• Ability and flexibility to travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
