About Spring Hollow Golf Club
Spring Hollow Golf Club opened in 1994 and is one of the region’s top daily fee golf courses. Designed by John Thompson, the 18-hole, par-70 layout measures just over 6,000 yards from the tips and features dramatic elevation changes and several scenic holes that play over water. Located less than 35 miles from Philadelphia, Spring Hollow also includes two practice greens for chipping and putting, a pro shop, local dining favorite Spring Hollow Bar & Grille, which occupies a former dairy barn, an award-winning banquet venue, as well as outdoor event space.

A day in the life
You will be develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, plans, and programs primarily designed to increase social event sales, improve golf rounds played, maximize revenues, and promote a positive image of the facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting periodic market research to provide information essential for revising current programs.
  • Building relationships with media, hotels, convention contacts, golf associations, civic organizations, etc. to promote group outings, special events, and tournament play.
  • Developing and organizing weddings, group outings, special events and tournaments and manage communication between departments to help ensure coordination of activities.
  • Monitoring facility activities and make recommendations to improve customer service and/or operational efficiency.
  • Representing the company in meetings and/or presentations with various clients, municipalities, and other outside agencies regarding the marketing related plans and strategies.
  • Reviewing and analyzing internal and external market information.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and projected industry developments.
  • Assuring the efficient and timely submission of all required operational, financial, budgetary and related marketing and sales reports.
  • As necessary, cross training other key staff members regarding the general sales process and important components as appropriate to facilitate the overall success of the team.

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with the attributes to maintain positive relationships and communicate clearly, tactfully, and persuasively with employees, customers and outside contacts as applicable.

  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • 5 years applicable marketing, sales, and management experience, preferably in the hospitality or golf industry.
  • Demonstrates experience and capability in the areas of budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management, marketing, sales, public relations, and community relations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs, email marketing platforms, POS systems, website CMS, sales/CRM platforms (Tripleseat, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.), Google Suite of products, social media platforms, etc.
  • Demonstrates quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Has the ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
  • Has a positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
