The Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining, planning, and growing the sales of Cleaning Business while utilizing sales and technical service experience, operations familiarity, and relationship building skills to provide customer support and identify other business opportunities within the cleaning industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
  • Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the customer organization and to enable effective two-way flow of information and resolution of issues.
  • Develop a personal network within the sales territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, gain market insights, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation.
  • Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard products and/or services offered by the organization that meet the customer's needs, together with quantities and product configurations. Present these to the customer with a clear rationale and at standard commercial terms, referring to senior colleagues where necessary to ask for concessions (e.g., price reduction) that gain the customer's agreement.
  • Collaborate internally and work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
  • Enter customer information that has been gathered through research and/or through direct customer contact into the customer relationship management system, to ensure that the organization has quality data to enable effective customer retention and business development activities OR Ensure that team members maintain up-to-date customer relationship management data, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Responsible for achieving the agreed sales budget targets for her/his selected customers and/or regions.
  • Complete detailed sales forecasting and customer key account plans.

REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or relevant field preferred, experience considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum 5+ years professional experience preferred.

  • Experiences practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide technical guidance when required
  • Developing appropriate plans and/or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Planning, organizing, prioritizing, and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Applies understanding of the business environment and objectives to develop solutions
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training to others on using clear and effective verbal communications skills to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
  • Adept to reviewing and creating relevant, lucid, and effective reports.
  • Capable of developing, monitoring, interpreting, and understanding policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
Creativity:
  • Demonstrated ability to propose solutions and novel concepts for a range of commercial issues.
Target Salary Range:
$81,900-$139,100 per year (salary to be determined by geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)
