Our hotel is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator who can organize daily sales and marketing activities, as well as develop an effective sales filing system. The Sales Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Sales to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating effectively.   • Act as the primary and initial customer service contact for clients who have questions about their accounts, our property, or a new inquiry.
  • Strong hospitality, organizational, computer knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge and skills.
  • Utilize proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation in all communications.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Run, process, and send weekly sales reports.
  • Become an advanced user in property management system, Opera. (Building group blocks, entering rooming lists, setting up billing, etc.)
  • Become an advanced user in Sales system, SalesForce. (Creating accounts, building group blocks and functions, updating actualized group pick-up, group resumes, Banquet Event Orders, etc.)
  • Process client billing from posting charges to collecting payment.
  • Ability to take on small sales role and/or additional reasonable responsibilities when necessary or directed by the Director of Sales.
  • Work with other departments within the hotel to execute groups and functions successfully.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent team development and leadership skills.
  • Utilize company resources to develop a filing system that keeps all active sales files available digitally and in hard copy form.
  • Take the lead on organizing the resources necessary to put together high-quality sales documentation.
  • Ensure the inventory of custom sales materials such as brochures and presentation folders are always up to date.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

  • Hotel: 1 year (Preferred)
