The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 - $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Lead and manage the pre-bid approval process for Account Managers and Regional Vice Presidents. This involves identification of key stakeholders, coordination of deadlines, and ensure/initiate all necessary actions for the release of submitted projects.
  • Drive clarity to the pipeline of what needs to go to Regional and/or Global Board approval as well as help set up meetings cross functionally to drive alignment between Sales and various key stakeholder (Manufacturing, Ops, Procurement, Project Management, etc) to improve deal execution
  • Partner with sales team to develop and implement commercial strategies in order to meet company goals and objectives (bid/no bid decisions, proposal submission milestones and timelines in partnership with Sales)
  • Promote company-wide understanding and adherence to the pre-bid process
  • Contact point for the development and implementation of new pre-bid guidance and responsible for questions or concerns related to the process
  • Understand of business growth models and the ability to foresee commercial opportunities
  • Responsible for attending the Regional and Global Board approval meetings, taking notes and tracking whether opportunities have been approved to move on to the next phase or need to be scheduled to re-visit the ROC/GOC
  • Identify areas for process improvement related to the Regional and Global Board approval process and create systems and structures to drive efficiency using Office365 Tools
  • Work with key stakeholder (incl. Project Management Office) to define milestones and responsibilities for end-of-sale project quality gates (QG00 and QG01)
  • Analysis of existing workflows, identification of improvement opportunities with the respective stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Legal, Product Development, Compliance, etc.) with regard to the global/group-wide standardization of workflows and the integration into the existing CRM and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle/Hyperion, Salesforce, etc).
  • Support NA Sales and Finance team with creation and execution of standard visualizations in PowerBI to effectively manage OI/Sales targets, margin, funnel health, and forecasting
  • Support Director, NA Sales Operations and Strategy with ad-hoc market research projects, market size and attractiveness analysis, and customer targeting initiatives

What We Are Looking For:

  • Excellent relational skills, ability build and maintain beneficial partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of metrics to monitor the performance of commercial activities, reporting results to senior management
  • BS/BA in business administration, finance or similar field minimum; MS/MA is a plus
  • Successful work experience as commercial manager or another relevant role
  • Proven success in sales and/or marketing, as well as evidence of the ability to manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of market research methods and analysis
  • Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
  • Excellent instincts and commercial awareness coupled with a strategic mindset
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
