T&F Drugs Inc. is the proud parent company of five premiere Northern New Jersey Pharmacies: Ho-Ho-Kus Pharmacy located in Ho-Ho-Kus, Sicomac Pharmacy of Wyckoff, De Blieck’s Pharmacy of North Haledon, Burgio's Pharmacy of Totowa and Atlas Drugs & Nutrition in North Bergen, NJ. Each of our pharmacies is privately owned and takes great pride in providing our customers with exceptional service and support. We are currently seeking to hire multiple Part Time/Full Time Sales Associates for Days/Evenings/Weekend Hours.

JOB SUMMARY:
Main responsibility is selling goods. Receive and disburse money. Involves use of electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment. Processing credit or debit card transactions, validating checks. Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services. Unpack orders from wholesalers.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability and product uses.
  • Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience in dealing with customer.
  • Markets the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Provide customers’ with information on policies and procedures.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.
  • Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers.
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas as well as general store.
  • Establish or identify prices of goods or services and tabulate bills using calculators, cash
  • Registers or price scanners.
  • Greet customers’ entering establishment.
  • Answer telephone in a courteous manner, according to Company Policy.
  • Promote teamwork among co-workers which includes assisting fellow sales clerks as needed.
  • Unpack incoming orders; verify invoices, sticker, and put stock away in proper place.
  • Merchandise on shelves straightened daily.
  • Perform nightly procedures for cash registers and store closing.

*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs other related duties as assigned.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must possess mobility to work in and move about in a standard pharmacy/HME setting and to use standard office equipment, including a cash register and a computer.

  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
