Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is personable, friendly, and able to talk to strangers
- Able to work some Saturdays
- Is interested in local birds, bird feeding, and nature (we'll teach you everything you need to know!)
- Full and part-time positions available

We are an outdoor/nature/hobby/wildlife store specializing in backyard bird feeding and related activities. Our employees will become experts in the hobby through several weeks of on the job training. Our sales associates will engage current and new customers on a daily basis, recommending products that best suit their needs. We use a computer based Point of Sale system so computer skills are necessary. All employees must be capable of standing for long periods of time (depending on how busy the store is), must be able to lift two twenty pound bags of bird seed (one in each hand) at a time, must not be allergic to peanuts or nuts (we bag and handle peanuts and nuts on a daily basis), must not be allergic to cats (we have two store cats), and must be able to climb a 3-foot ladder when needed.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
