You must be motivated and positive. Our average salesperson in 2021 made $63,024. Our top salesperson made over $130,000 in 2022.

Starting Expected Salary/Commission Pay Range:

$10.00/hour + 3% COMMISSION ON ALL SALES (average commission of $2200/month.)

DESIGN AFFINITY- You don't have to be a designer by any means, but if you don't like home furnishings and fashion, you won't like the job. This isn't short-sleeved furniture salesmen from decades ago. This is consultative, fashion-oriented salesmanship!

HARDWORKING - Our staff members who have been here for at least one year average between $60,000 and $70,000 a year! If you're more comfortable in a strict corporate environment, you'll be miserable here. Retail requires hard work, but the right work ethic can produce a great living at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries.

Even if you don't have sales or design experience, we can help you find success. We are family-owned and operated. We put our employees and our customers first! We hope you will visit a store and ask around. Our work environment is AMAZING!

Responsibilities:

· Provide the best customer experience for every customer.

· Greet and demonstrate the La-Z-Boy product to every customer.

· Sell using PSS selling system.

· Achieve monthly sales goals.

· Follow-up with every customer – before and after the sale.

· Develop sales goals for each year.

· Set strategic monthly goals.

· Meet with the general manager at beginning of the year to discuss yearly goals.

· Attend all sales meetings.

· Clean and maintain the showroom.

Requirements:

· Work an estimated 40 hours a week.

· Work overtime when short-handed.

· Saturday & some holiday work required.

· Meet with general manager monthly to discuss performance.

· Attend all sales meetings.
