Sales Associate

Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Store Manager

Summary/Objective
Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers as they enter the store, tending to customer needs, and selling product with the highest level of customer service at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stay current on product knowledge
• Meet sales goals
• Accurately process customer sales/purchase transactions
• Introduce promotions and sale opportunities to customers
• Ensure the highest level of customer service by assisting customers with concerns and exchanges
• Communicates client feedback, business trends, and recommendations to the store management team
• Consistently upholds a neat, clean and organized store and stockroom
• Assist in visual presentation standards and ensuring the store is replenished at all times
• Complies with company handbook policies and Retail Operations Policy and Procedures
• Assist the Management team in the protection of all company assets, controlling internal and external loss
• Other duties as required

Travel

• This position requires limited travel; 0-25%

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma
• Retail Sales experience
• Must have availability to work a minimum of two, 4-hour shifts to include peak business days, weekends and holidays as needed
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be dependable
