The Company

Hampton Farms is the leading In-Shell Peanut Company in the US. We also are a leading producer of other types of nuts, trail mixes, seeds and candies, for the retail and commercial markets. You can find our product in most grocery stores, convenience stores, and major league baseball stadiums. We distribute under the Hampton Farms, Stone Creek Foods, and AVA’s brands, and are also a leading private label manufacturer. This position is based out of the Springfield, MA facility.

Purpose

Provide industry leading customer service, both external and internal, to maintain and advance the company’s mission, vison, and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee all aspects of customer service

- Receive orders from customers via phone, email, text

- Suggestive selling

- Order entry

- Invoicing

- Work closely with other departments (warehousing/shipping/production) to ensure excellent customer service

- Monitor AR to ensure accounts are up to date and accurate

· Follow up with sales manager on all new inquiries and leads

· Monitor sales and provide input to production scheduler to ensure order fulfillment

· Hours of operation for this position: 7:00am to 4:00pm

- This is not a work from home position

Requirements

· 3-5 years of customer service experience preferred

· Experience in the food and beverage industry would be a plus

· Associates degree in a relative field is preferred

Work Environment

· Combination of office environment along with duties that will require the incumbent work in a plant environment where physical hazards such as production equipment and forklifts may be present.
